Lewis Michael are proud to have secured planning permission for the conversion of the former post office in Wrington, North Somerset. The proposal restored the building to its original form as a Georgian dwelling house.
The retail impacts of the proposal as well as the visual impacts of the extensions and alterations on the Conservation Area were the principal issue of consideration for the local planning authority.
Our application confirmed that the proposal introduced a sympathetic conversion; enhancing the character and appearance of the Conservation Area. There was minimal impact on the services previously offered to local residents as the post office was relocated to another nearby premises.
